Sweet Cayden came to his session with a few sentimental pieces to incorporate into his images, including an heirloom baby ring and a special swaddle blanket. We got some nice photos incorporating these pieces and mom and dad's hands.


I have three options for newborn sessions--a baby-only wrapped mini session, a baby-only full session with all the poses, and a baby and family full session. Most of my clients choose the baby and family session; however, I still like to incorporate parents into some photos even in the baby-only sessions. I love to add mom or dad's hands around baby, which I feel adds an extra emotional element to the image. Clients tend to love these shots, too. They often make wonderful black and white conversions and beautiful wall art.
