K's maternity session
Since beginning my business I've niched down my expertise to mostly maternity, newborn, and milestone sessions. I love them all and it's so hard to choose my favorite type of session, but there's something about making a new mom feel beautiful and special that I really enjoy. I have one goal in mind when planning and shooting a maternity session: make mom happy.
All maternity sessions are done in my Evans City-area studio. That means we never have to worry about thunderstorms, ice on the roads, or sweltering humidity ruining our session (and in Pittsburgh, we all know how unpredictable the weather can be!)
Before our session begins, I like to get a good feel for the vision my client has in mind. Do you want a super simple white t-shirt and jeans look, or do you want to be decked out in tulle or silk? Do you want to include a partner or even a pet? Do you have color preferences, or want to add in a sentimental item? It's important for me to listen to my clients so they're happy with their images in the end.
When you come to me for a maternity session, you can expect to have your choice of luxury drapes, accessories, and gowns, or you are welcome to bring your own. I'll provide guidance on posing and try to make you feel as comfortable as possible. I have music playing, a fan softly blowing your hair, and you'll have time to just enjoy this beautiful time.
I have so many beautiful images from this session, but I'll share just a few. My clients' privacy is important to me and I only share images after asking permission.
